Denver, Colorado
The hidden secret of the west has got to be Denver Colorado. I've been on two weekend road trips here because I enjoyed myself so much the first time. Great weather, good music, good friends and beautiful scenery. Bonus: It's only a 7 hour drive!
Things to Do
Live Concert at Red Rock Amphitheater
This is still on my bucket list. The Red Rock Amphitheater is just what it sounds like, an incredible venue surrounded by red rocks. I've heard seeing a concert here is incredible. If you do it, let us know! (See picture above)
Ski at Vail Ski Resort
Vail is a quaint ski town on your way into Denver if you're coming from Provo. Stop here on your way home for a perfect ski day.
Bike around Denver on B-cycle Bikes
Rent a bike in downtown Denver from it's city "B-cycle Bikes". Look for the red bikes and zip around the town. Make sure to check out the big blue bear outside the convention center, and window shop at Larimer Square.
Be a student for the day at University of Colorado, Colorado State or University of Denver
This is my favorite thing to do as a college student, because you blend right in. University of Colorado in Boulder is my favorite campus. Walk around campus, go to the book store and grab a bite to eat at the local pizza joint.
Places to Eat
Voodoo Doughnuts
The perfect midnight snack! The doughnuts from Voodoo are the craziest flavors and designs you've ever seen. Opened 24 hours so enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Tin Man Ice Cream
A great photo op at this ice cream shop in the shape of a tin can. Located in the heart of Denver!

Snooze Breakfast
You will never be the same. Snooze breakfast is the best option for breakfast without a doubt. You can't go wrong, everything on the menu is divine. But be warned: Saturday morning brunch will be packed.
